As Head of our Accounting team, you play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of the South Germany region. You… …lead and oversee the Finance Cluster South Germany, ensuring efficient daily operations while aligning all financial activities with corporate policies, USALI standards, and legal requirements. Your main responsibilities include: • Leading, developing, and mentoring the Accounting team across the cluster, including apprentices and dual students • Acting as a strategic partner to hotel leadership, supporting business decisions through financial insights and recommendations • Overseeing the preparation of monthly reports, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for management and Corporate Office • Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements • Managing and optimizing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes • Taking ownership of financial systems, including the procurement platform Coupa, and driving continuous improvements • Monitoring and analysing operational KPIs, identifying opportunities, and implementing measures to enhance financial performance • Collaborating closely with key departments such as Human Resources, Revenue Management, Front Office, and Reservations to support overall business success • Acting as a key contact for audits and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations What you bring: • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality industry • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a deep understanding of financial operations • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage teams • High affinity for systems and digital tools, with experience in financial and ERP systems • Strong attention to detail combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset • Structured, independent, and results-driven working style • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
