POSITION PURPOSE The Night Auditor is required to audit, balance and consolidate Department ledger accounts, supervise the night audit process in the Opera system and prepare various hotel operating reports as well as balance the end of day reports of the different outlets with the Opera system. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Reconciliation and completion of all daily Desk Agents' work •Posting balances to all guest rooms and closing out the day's transactions •Running accounts receivable reports, providing next day reports to all the departments, as required. •Provide guest services to guests during the overnight hours •Attend to guest’s needs and questions as they arise •Park cars when necessary to keep the entrance free •Coordinate with other night shift staff to ensure smooth running of the hotel operations •Responsible for the evacuation of the hotel in case of emergency.
