IntroductionThe Monte Rosa transports guests back to the origins of mountain tourism, steeped in the charm of the founding era yet entirely free of any musty, museum-like feel. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Portier / Chasseur (m/f/d) to join our historical property. We are looking for motivated employees for the 2026/2027 winter season (December-April) Apply now! Your tasksProvide seamless arrival and departure assistance for hotel guests, including luggage handling and transfers Carry out various internal and external errands in support of daily hotel operations Handle the collection, sorting, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail Vacuum staircases, walkways, corridors, and the passage leading to the Residence. Clean and mop the entrance area, the Residence staircase, and the ski room. Deliver laundry baskets to guest floors and return them to the staff entrance once emptied. Vacuum all guest rooms and corridors. Assist room attendants with the removal and transport of soiled linen. Collect and dispose of waste and rubbish throughout the property. Assist guests with luggage transportation for arrivals, departures, and room changes. Deliver and set up extra beds and baby cots in guest rooms. Inspect, replace, and maintain light bulbs and lamps as required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Experience with Protel On Premise or a comparable PMS system is desirable
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
Strong guest-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge oh hotel management systems
Fluent in English. French and German are a strong advantage
A minimum of a year's experience in a luxury establishment
