Responsibilities Active support and confident deputy for the Head Concierge Taking charge of the lobby team in the absence of the Head Concierge Efficient organisation and reliable execution of all internal and external guest assignments Competent first point of contact for guests facing any concerns or challenges Secure management of mail and monitoring of the fire alarm systems Timely forwarding of incoming guest messages Sale of hotel services and fulfilment of individual guest requests with the utmost discretion Ensuring smooth and seamless operations at the lobby—both operationally and in personnel matters Professional and solution-oriented handling of guest complaints Strict compliance with hotel-specific standards and the Quality Management System (AMS) Consistent adherence to and implementation of standards in the Environmental Management System (EMS) Independent handling and coordination of all reservations (tee-times, taxis, external restaurants, etc.) Why Join Us?At The Alpina Gstaad, we believe that taking care of our team is as important as delighting our guests. Requisitos
• Completed education in hotel management • Proven experience in a similar position in a comparable luxury hospitality environment • Strong leadership skills and a genuine team player • Excellent command of English and at least one additional language (German or French) • Confident, professional and authentic manner – both verbally and in written communication • In-depth knowledge of the local culture and offerings is a major advantage • Thorough understanding of all front desk and concierge operations • Outstanding organisational skills and a structured approach to work • Sensitivity to situations and people – able to anticipate needs and act proactively
