Mission:
Implementation of all standard operating procedures, service standards and to ensure smooth operations in Banqueting. Effectively control the cost. Also to achieve maximum employee, guest and owner satisfaction while complying with all Melia Hotels International policies.
What will you do?
• Supervise and coordinate all banquet operations, staff schedules, and event setups.
• Ensure smooth execution of functions, maintaining high service and hospitality standards.
• Work closely with Kitchen and Banquet Sales to deliver events as per guest requirements.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints with professionalism.
• Conduct pre-function checks, oversee cleanliness, equipment care, and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate reports, logs, and staff records.
• Attend F&B and operational meetings to align on priorities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Motivate, train, and build teamwork within the banquet team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
• College degree or higher, preferably in Hotel Management.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in computer skills and business correspondence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an international hotel.
