Assistant F&B Director - ME Lisbon

Job description

Mission: As the Assistant Food & Beverage Director at ME Lisbon, you will support the F&B Director in overseeing all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong business performance, while maintaining the innovative and lifestyle standards of the ME by Meliá brand. What will you have to do? • Support the daily management of all Food & Beverage outlets, including Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Banqueting operations. • Ensure compliance with brand standards, service excellence, and operational procedures across all F&B areas. • Monitor departmental performance, controlling costs and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and the analysis of financial and operational results. • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop F&B teams, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP regulations. What are we looking for? • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within Food & Beverage operations, preferably within luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands. • Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken. • Solid understanding of F&B operations, service standards, and guest experience management. • Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and performance analysis. • Strong leadership, communication, organisational, and team development skills. • Resilient, proactive, and results-oriented professional, capable of thriving in a demanding, fast-paced, and highly operational environment.
