Job description
Bellboy will be responsible, among other tasks, for greeting and welcoming guests to the hotel and assist with their luggage, ensuring an outstanding first impression and that the highest standards of hospitality and welcoming are always demonstrated, and that requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner. He will also be expected to promoting the heritage, history, and culture of Porto in a modern perspective, taking guests into a unique journey through the different moments in time in the city, involving them on this new form of hospitality, as well as facilitating the interactions between guests, the city and the hotel, building a deep relationship with local people, commerce, services, allowing the open dialog with the environment around. Calling wildcard candidates! Our project seeks to be hyper-local in its connection to Porto, but with a global outlook. We believe we can best achieve this by building a team with a diverse set of skills and experience, so culture-fit and a willingness to learn are much more important than experience in identical roles. Transferable skills are desirable but extensive training can be provided to the right candidates. The Largo is a boutique hotel made up of nineteen suites, two restaurants and a bar, all of which are set across five heritage buildings.
