Job Title: Operations manager GermanyLocation: Berlin Contract Type: Permanent Your Role: As an Operations manager, you will lead the process of opening new BMG restaurants on the German perimeter for and coordinate all support functions. You will also drive process optimization and operational excellence across all existing restaurants through standardized procedures and strategic project management throughout the year. Main Responsibilities : 1° Restaurant Openings : a) Pre-opening project management : - Lead the full process of opening new restaurant locations from site preparation to launch- Managing the project schedule as a whole and for all group projects centralizing any structural change that may impact the project timeline or structure- Oversee all administrative and logistical tasks related to the opening process b) Operational readiness and communication : - Ensure new restaurants are operationally ready, including, training, system setup and logistics- Ensure clear and fluid communication regarding the opening project, bring together the right people and build excitement and enthusiasm around the project- Serve as the key liaison between HQ and on-site teams during the launch phase.c) Strategic alignment & standardization : - Ensure that new restaurant openings align with company strategy, brand identity and customer expectations- Establish various processes and make them readable and adaptable for each team- Build scalable processes and implement new practices to streamline future openings and reduce ramp-up time 2° Operational Management : a) Process Optimization & Project Management :- Support the ops management teams in standardizing and optimizing processes across the restaurants.- Oversee key operational projects- Ensure alignment of new projects with overall company strategy and values.b) Collaboration with Support Functions:- Work closely with departments such as F&B, IT, finance, and HR to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication across teams.- Lead and coordinate cross-departmental projects c) Maintenance & issue tracking - Ensure proper follow-up and resolution of maintenance issues across all sites- Coordinate with external service providers and internal teams for timely interventions.- Maintain a centralized tracking system for technical problems, prioritizing critical actions and minimizing operational downtime. 3° Business Performance & Operations Support :- Monitor key KPIs (sales, productivity, guest satisfaction, cost ratios) to ensure performance targets are met, identify gaps, and lead corrective actions.- Support P&L management, control labor and F&B costs, and contribute to budget planning with finance.- Drive revenue growth and ensure EBITDA targets across all locations.- Elevate daily operations by reinforcing service quality, guest experience, and adherence to brand standards.
