We are recruiting a Front Desk Supervisor Assistant for a boutique guesthouse renowned. You will be a key assistant to the Front Desk Supervisor, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing warm and efficient service experience for all guests. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the front desk team, managing reservations and check-in/check-out procedures, assisting guests, and handling special situations.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the front desk department.
• Ensure excellent customer service.
• Review schedules/backup documents.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of building equipment.
• Manage, resolve, and anticipate emergencies and complaints, and provide effective and satisfactory solutions.
• Prepare performance reports (attendance, customer satisfaction, cleanliness).
• Manage necessary supplies inventory.
• Coordinate and collaborate with hotel management.
• Fill in for the Front Desk Supervisor when needed.
• There are two work locations; our properties are located near Cascais train station and Rossio train station.
Job Requirements
Experience: 2-3 years
Minimum Education: High School
Employee Requirements:
• Work experience in a similar position in the hotel industry.
• Training in tourism, hotel management, or related fields (preferred). Skills and Abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Leadership, organizational, and incident handling abilities.
• Strong teamwork and stress management skills.
• Proficient in computer tools and hotel management software.
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Fluency in other languages is preferred, especially high levels of French, Spanish, and English (essential).
• Flexible working hours.
• Able to work weekends and holidays as needed for operations.
