Mission: As a Cook 2nd, your mission is to support the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality dishes that reflect the concept of authenticity and respect for local produce. You will contribute directly to the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, creativity, and efficiency in all preparations, ultimately enhancing the overall culinary experience.
What will you have to do?
• Prepare hot and cold dishes, ensuring accuracy, portion control and minimal waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment correctly and follow efficient workflows to support smooth service.
• Ensure all dishes meet established standards for taste, presentation, timing and alignment with the Nordic concept.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene in all kitchen and storage areas.
• Collaborate closely with senior chefs and coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
What are we looking for?
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in premium hotels or gastronomic restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques and appreciation for local, seasonal products.
• Solid understanding of food handling, hygiene and safety standards.
• Team‑oriented attitude, willingness to learn and grow within a young, dynamic kitchen environment.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain consistency during service.
• Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
