ME Lisbon is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the city, renowned for its modern design, vibrant lifestyle, and excellent service. Mission: As the Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations, managing the team, controlling departmental resources, and ensuring compliance with the hotel's quality standards and brand expectations. What will you have to do? • Manage and supervise all daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and facilities meet the hotel's quality standards. • Lead, motivate, develop, and evaluate the Housekeeping team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. • Plan staffing levels, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency and service quality. • Manage inventory, purchasing, and stock control of linens, uniforms, cleaning products, and supplies. • Monitor departmental budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational improvements. • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Maintenance, F&B, and Guest Relations to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. • Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and departmental KPIs for management review. What are we looking for? • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Housekeeping, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management position within luxury hospitality. • Degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred). • Strong leadership and people management skills, excellent organizational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail. • Solid knowledge of housekeeping operations, quality standards, and cleaning procedures. • Experience in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and operational reporting. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages will be considered an asset.
