ME Lisbon is a luxury hotel that is part of the prestigious Meliá Hotels International chain. Located in the heart of Lisbon, our hotel offers a unique and sophisticated experience, combining avant-garde design with exceptional service for our guests. Mission: The Bellman is responsible for assisting guests upon arrival, during their stay, and at departure, while upholding the brand's service standards. This position is essential for ensuring a warm welcome and farewell, enhancing the overall guest experience. What will you have to do? • Welcome guests at the hotel entrance with a professional, warm, and elegant attitude, ensuring an excellent first impression. • Remain at the hotel entrance, opening doors, managing the flow of guest arrivals and departures, and ensuring safety and organization. • Assist with parking guests’ vehicles (valet parking, when applicable), ensuring safety and proper handling of all cars. • Transport, store, and deliver luggage carefully and efficiently, ensuring the security and good condition of guests’ belongings. • Provide information about hotel services, transportation, local attractions, and experiences in a proactive manner. • Maintain constant communication with the reception team regarding arrivals, departures, special requests, and VIP guests, ensuring personalized service. • Ensure the entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas are always clean, organized, and aligned with the hotel’s luxury standards. • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or complaints, ensuring quick and effective resolution. What are we looking for? • Education in Hospitality or Tourism is a plus; • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; • Fluency in Portuguese and English; • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail; • Excellent communication and professional presentation; • Knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
