Opening in 2026, The Standard, Lisbon brings our iconic lifestyle brand to the heart of historic Alfama. Set within the restored Palácio Santa Clara, the hotel will feature 170 guestrooms, 24 apartments, destination restaurants and bars, a rooftop, pool deck, café, event spaces and 24-hour In Room Dining—all centred around food, music, art and culture. As we enter pre-opening, we're looking for an F&B Manager (Outlets Manager) to join our Food & Beverage leadership team and help deliver an experience that's Anything but Standard. Your Role Reporting to the F&B Director, you'll act as their deputy and lead the day-to-day operation of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence and memorable guest experiences across every venue. This is a highly visible, hands-on role overseeing the Guest Lounge, Restaurant, Bar, Café, Pool Deck, Rooftop, Event Spaces and In Room Dining. You'll work closely with Floor Managers and Supervisors to ensure service standards, staffing, productivity and brand expectations are consistently achieved. As part of the senior F&B leadership team, you'll support recruitment, training, coaching, labour planning, payroll control and compliance, while helping build an engaged, high-performing team that embodies The Standard's culture. You'll also play an active role in hosting guests, supporting events and nightlife programming, and ensuring every outlet delivers an exceptional experience. About You You'll have: At least 3 years' experience in a senior F&B management or Restaurant Manager role within a lifestyle hotel or multi-outlet hospitality business. Strong experience managing multiple Food & Beverage outlets. Previous restaurant and bar management experience. Experience acting as a deputy within an F&B leadership team. Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills. Commercial awareness with the ability to balance guest experience and financial performance. Knowledge of labour planning and, ideally, Portuguese employment legislation. Experience supporting events and late-night operations. Fluency in Portuguese and English. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late nights. Pre-opening experience is advantageous. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the European Union.
