Our portfolio brings together hotels and resorts with distinct identities, markets and positioning, some operating under internationally recognised hotel brands. This diversity requires a Revenue Management strategy that combines a consistent commercial approach with a deep understanding of the individual needs and market dynamics of each property.
To lead this function, we are looking for an experienced Area Revenue Director, based in Mallorca.
The role
The Area Revenue Director will lead the Revenue Management function across Arabella Hospitality España, with overall responsibility for the revenue strategy and performance of the hotel portfolio.
The position will directly lead the Revenue Management team, ensuring a consistent strategic approach while adapting revenue strategies to the positioning, market dynamics and business needs of each property.
Working closely with General Managers, Sales, Marketing, Finance and other key stakeholders, the Area Revenue Director will play a central role in business planning and commercial decision-making, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue, profitability and market share across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities
· In collaboration with Area Revenue Support, define and lead the Revenue Management strategy across the hotel portfolio.
· In collaboration with Area Revenue Support, develop and implement pricing, inventory, segmentation and distribution strategies tailored to the positioning and business objectives of each property.
· Lead, develop and support the Revenue Management team, establishing clear objectives, priorities and performance expectations.
· Provide strategic direction to property Revenue Managers and ensure consistent implementation of Revenue Management standards, processes and best practices.
· Represent and communicate Revenue Management strategies, performance and recommendations in meetings and presentations with owners, asset management representatives and other key stakeholders.
· Drive forecasting processes and ensure accurate and timely rooms revenue forecasts across the portfolio.
· Lead the rooms revenue budgeting process and contribute actively to annual business planning.
· Analyse business performance, market trends, competitive positioning, demand patterns and booking behaviour to identify risks and opportunities.
· Monitor market share and competitive performance, translating insights into clear commercial actions.
· Establish and continuously review pricing strategies across transient, group and other relevant segments.
· Optimise inventory and business mix to maximise revenue and profitability.
· Evaluate displacement, need periods and demand opportunities to support effective commercial decision-making.
· Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance to ensure alignment between Revenue Management strategies and the wider commercial and financial objectives of each property.
· Partner with General Managers and property leadership teams, providing clear revenue insights, recommendations and performance updates.
· Work closely with Finance to ensure alignment between forecasts, budgets and overall business performance.
· Lead regular Revenue and commercial strategy meetings, ensuring clear follow-up and accountability.
· Oversee distribution strategy and performance across relevant direct and indirect channels, ensuring appropriate positioning, availability and rate parity.
· Ensure effective use and adoption of Revenue Management systems, tools and available data across the portfolio.
· Maintain close collaboration with the relevant Marriott International Revenue Management and commercial structures, ensuring alignment with brand strategies, systems, initiatives and best practices where applicable.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, systems and Revenue Management capabilities across the organisation.
· Support the professional development of the Revenue Management team, identifying training needs, development opportunities and succession plans.
· Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across properties, leveraging market intelligence and best practices throughout the portfolio.
· Support new openings, repositionings and other projects linked to the growth of Arabella Hospitality España from a Revenue Management perspective.
