Mission: As a Pastry Commis Chef, your mission is to support the pastry team in delivering high-quality desserts that reflect creativity, precision, and excellence. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, attention to detail, and efficiency in all preparations, enhancing the overall dining experience
What will you have to do?
• Assist in the preparation and execution of pastry and dessert items, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards.
• Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs with precision and consistency.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients to maintain quality and reduce waste.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene in all pastry and kitchen areas.
• Support the team during service, ensuring timely delivery and consistency of all dishes.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
What are we looking for?
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hotels or fine dining environments.
• Solid knowledge of international pastry, with an interest in modern and creative techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Team-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency and professionalism.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is preferred.
