Location: Ikos Andalusia, Estepona Department: Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Summary: As an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician at Ikos Andalusia, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel. Your role ensures optimal climate comfort for guests and staff, contributing to service excellence. Main Duties: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment (chillers, VRF, split units, etc.). Service refrigeration units (cold rooms, freezers, ice machines). Diagnose and repair faults efficiently. Monitor system performance in guest and service areas. Handle refrigerants safely and follow all environmental regulations. Maintain records and report technical incidents. Support general maintenance when needed. Coordinate with external technicians when required. Requirements: Experience as an HVAC or Refrigeration Technician (hotels preferred). Certified in refrigerant handling (e.g., FGAS). Able to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools. Basic knowledge of electrical/plumbing systems. Team player, reliable, and flexible with shifts. English proficiency is a plus. 🇪🇸 Descripción del Puesto – Técnico de Mantenimiento HVAC y Frigorista Ubicación: Ikos Andalusia, Estepona Departamento: Mantenimiento Reporta a: Supervisor de Mantenimiento Resumen: Como Técnico de Climatización y Refrigeración en Ikos Andalusia, te encargarás del mantenimiento y reparación de los sistemas de aire acondicionado y refrigeración del hotel, garantizando el confort térmico de clientes y empleados. Funciones principales: Mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de sistemas HVAC (enfriadoras, VRF, splits…). Reparación de cámaras frigoríficas, congeladores, máquinas de hielo. Diagnóstico y solución de averías. Supervisión del funcionamiento en zonas comunes y de servicio. Manipulación segura de gases y cumplimiento normativo. Registro de intervenciones y comunicación de incidencias. Apoyo en otras tareas de mantenimiento. Colaboración con técnicos externos. Requisitos: Experiencia previa en climatización/refrigeración (ideal en hoteles). Certificado para manipular gases refrigerantes (ej. FGAS). Capacidad para leer planos técnicos y usar herramientas de diagnóstico. Conocimientos básicos de electricidad y fontanería. Trabajo en equipo, disponibilidad para turnos rotativos. Se valora inglés intermedio.
