Job Mission
As Pastry & Bakery Chef, your mission is to lead the pastry and bakery kitchen, ensuring the creation of exceptional desserts and baked goods that delight our guests. You will manage production processes, maintain food safety standards, and bring creativity to every plate, contributing to the hotel’s reputation for culinary excellence.
What You Will Do
• Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate the pastry and bakery team for efficient, high-quality production.
• Create & Innovate: Develop new recipes and seasonal menus aligned with guest preferences and hotel themes.
• Ensure Quality & Safety: Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene at all times.
• Plan & Organize: Schedule staff, coordinate tasks, and ensure smooth operations across departments.
• Manage Inventory: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the Executive Chef to design custom desserts and baked goods for events.
What We Are Looking For
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a hotel or fine dining environment.
• Skills: Expertise in pastry and bakery techniques, cake decoration, and dessert presentation.
• Creativity: Passion for innovation and awareness of current pastry trends.
• Leadership: Ability to manage and inspire a team.
• Organization: Strong planning and time management skills.
• Communication: Good English skills and team collaboration.
• Qualifications: Professional diploma or equivalent experience.
• Personal Traits: Detail-oriented, passionate, and able to perform under pressure.
