What will be your mission? Ensure that the company’s purchasing decisions align with its sustainability goals by fostering collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria throughout the supply chain. This role acts as a bridge between the Procurement and Sustainability departments, leading cross-functional projects and driving responsible sourcing initiatives.What will you do? • Support the evaluation and selection of sustainable products and services across all procurement categories. • Identify new sourcing opportunities aligned with sustainability goals and European regulations. • Lead sustainability-related procurement projects, acting as the internal reference for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) topics. • Negotiate with suppliers to promote sustainable practices and ensure alignment with company objectives. • Analyze procurement data to generate insights and improvement proposals. • Collaborate with both Procurement and Sustainability teams, reporting to both areas. • Promote internal awareness and engagement around sustainable procurement practices. • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor progress toward sustainability targets. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external sustainability standards. What are we looking for? EXPERIENCE • +2 years of experience in sustainability, procurement, or hybrid roles combining both. • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in dynamic environments. • Experience in data-driven procurement projects is a plus. QUALIFICATIONS • Fluency in English (daily interaction with international teams). • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Experience with Power BI will be highly valued. • Familiarity with European sustainability regulations (CS3D, EUDR…) and responsible sourcing standards (FSC, Plastic free, Energy Performance Certifications, LCA…) • Recommended Msc in Sustainability or related field SKILLS • Results-driven and detail-oriented. • Strong analytical and strategic thinking. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives. • Passion for sustainability and ability to navigate complex, precedent-free challenges. • Experience working in multicultural and international environments. ADITTIONAL INFORMATION • Reports to both the Sustainability team and Procurement team. • The position is based in Madrid Regional Office (Minor Europe & Americas), located in the city centre: Calle Santa Engracia 120, 28003 Madrid (hybrid remote & office working model: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote). • May require occasional travel to meet with suppliers or attend sustainability-related events. • Corporate benefits as Food cards & Employee Rate for rooms in our hotels.
