Assistant Hotel Manager

We are looking for Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) - Melia Chongqing (China) Mission:      Provides support to the GM in the implementation in their business units of the defined action plans, executing the tasks that have been assigned, to optimize the operation and customer satisfaction, with supervision of their results.     Provide management and support to the Sales & Marketing Department, including overseeing sales strategies, team coordination, and performance tracking.     Actively manages and supports the Sales & Marketing Department, aligning its strategies with the hotel’s overall operational and financial goals. What will you have to do? •    Operations: Assist the General Manager in ensuring the operational excellence of all hotel departments and the implementation of action plans. •    Finance: Align operational activities with set financial goals based on KPIs and participate in operational audits. •    Sales & Revenue: Lead, manage, and support the Sales & Marketing Department to drive revenue growth and market share. Oversee sales strategy execution, team performance, and marketing initiatives. Implement in-house sales and upselling actions to boost revenue, support key sales inspection visits, and collaborate with the GM on commercial planning. •    Sales & Marketing Department Management: Directly supervise the daily operations of the sales and marketing team, including setting KPIs, monitoring performance, conducting sales meetings, and coaching team members. Ensure effective coordination between sales, revenue management, and marketing campaigns. Drive local corporate sales, MICE business, and digital marketing efforts. Report regularly to the GM on departmental results and action plans. •    Product & Brand Management: Follow up on customer feedback and coordinate the implementation of brand standards to enhance the overall guest experience. •    Rooms: Supervise room cleaning and service standards, and coordinate work between accommodation departments. •    Food & Beverage: Assist in implementing F&B standards, oversee daily operations and hygiene compliance to improve satisfaction and profitability. •    Human Resources: Participate in organizing staff service culture and brand induction training sessions. •    Loyalty: Support loyalty program trainings and ensure the delivery of member benefits and experiences. What are we looking for? •    Strong Hotel Operations experience, especially with Sales & Marketing background  •    Language: Fluent in Chinese & English.  •    Local experience is required •    Leadership, autonomy, strategic vision and solvent social skills. •    Attention to detail and passion for excellence. •    Knowledge of IT tools used in Hotel Management. •    Diploma or degree in Tourism or equivalent.
