Duties & Responsibilities: • Assist in reviewing pick-up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate Budget and Forecast accuracy. • Liaising with Melia revenue services on competitor analysis, local market trends and revising hotel rates. • Cross checking & updating all new reservations, and address daily cancellations and no shows. • Ensuring daily reservations and group enquiries are followed up in a timely manner. • Controlling rooms inventory including wholesale allocations and overbooking scenarios appropriately. • Mentoring and leading a small team of Reservations Agents to success. • Reconciling reservations daily commissions. • Loading and maintaining rates in Melia Guest Reservations System. What are we looking for? • Extensive experience using Opera PMS is essential. • Previous experience in a Reservations/Front Office Management or Supervisory role. • Comprehensive understanding of hotel systems. • The ability to manage time efficiently with competing deadlines. • The ability to liaise professionally in all aspects of the role, including excellent telephone and email etiquette. • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
