Mission of the Position: To oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar during assigned shifts, leading the team and ensuring operational excellence and an outstanding guest experience.
Job Summary: As Restaurant & Bar Supervisor, you will support the daily management of the restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences. You will lead the team during your shift, monitor operational procedures and contribute to achieving the department's quality and business objectives.
What will you have to do?
• Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant and bar outlets, ensuring excellent service standards.
• Lead, motivate and support the Food & Beverage team during each shift.
• Ensure compliance with Meliá operational standards, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Monitor opening, closing and operational checklists.
• Oversee inventory control, equipment maintenance and outlet presentation.
• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving departmental objectives, quality standards and financial targets.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
• Support onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Promote Meliá's service culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for:
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Good knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
• Fluent in both Italian and English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and attention to detail.
The position can be classified at level C1 of the National Collective Contract Turismo AICA, with an initial economic treatment not lower than the contractual minimums foreseen for the level that will be identified at the outcome of the selection (level C1: €1.831,04 gross monthly).
The indicative Gross Annual Salary is €25.634,56 in relation to the skills, experience gained, degree of autonomy, responsibilities and working conditions of the position.
