Hotel Melia Durrës is a luxurious beachfront resort offering world-class hospitality services to our esteemed guests. With a focus on providing exceptional service and memorable experiences, we are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and driven individual to join our team as a Bar Supervisor.
Mission:
Responsible for the bar outlets during their time slot, leading the operations of the assigned consumption centers, ensuring good management and customer experience.
What will you have to do?
• Manage daily operations of the bar outlets.
• Oversee daily and monthly inventory of glassware, dishware, cutlery, and decorations.
• Ensure accurate reporting of inventory and department performance.
• Supervise preventive maintenance and deep cleaning of bar equipment.
• Manage menus, liquor lists, and department promotions.
• Ensure proper operation of bar machines and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company standards.
• Monitor department budget and financial results.
• Help with the training and development of staff.
• Maintain excellent customer service and personalize guest experiences.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when needed.
• Be aware of hotel services, entertainment, and events, and keep the team informed.
What we are looking for?
• Higher degree and/or university degree, preferably Tourism or Hospitality, or similar.
• Albanian and advanced English, a third language will be highly valuable.
• Knowledge of the F&B area, both the waiting service (restaurant) and the bar.
• Knowledge of cashiers' closing and reconciliation, stock management, and ordering.
• Knowledge of the latest bars trends.
• Ability to ensure health and safety procedures (HACCP).
• Cost control/ management.
• Knowledge of REVO, and POS management.
• Advanced command of the Office 365 package
• Knowledge of hotel operations.
• Ability to work in a team, service and quality oriented, professionalism, global and strategic vision and communication and influence as key competencies. Creativity and innovation.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position, in the sector.
