Chef de Clases Particulares
Location: Private Household in Deia, Mallorca
Days: Full-time, 5 days a week with 2 days off. Flexible availability to work weekends and later evenings when the family is home or have friends staying
Hours: Flexible & adaptable; breakfast to be served at 9am, lunch at 1pm, dinner around 7pm
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Role Overview: Seeking a private chef with a passion for creating healthy, vibrant dishes packed with flavor and creativity. This role is based in the home of a young British couple settling into their new life on the Island. They’re looking for someone warm, enthusiastic, and full of positive energy who can make the kitchen the true heart of the house. The house has its own vegetable garden and a working olive grove, for homegrown ingredients. The chef will be responsible for daily meal preparation - including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
This would be a 6 month contract with from May to October 2026. During times when the family is away, you will not be required to work; however, when they are in residence, a higher level of flexibility and availability will be expected.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Cooking delicious, healthy and vibrant meals everyday for a family of 2 adults
Creating weekly menus packed with fresh flavours (the family loves international dishes and bold, seasonal food)
Using produce from the Estate: vegetable garden, honey bees and olive grove
Keeping the kitchen beautifully organised, tidy and well-stocked
Coordinate with the house manager to source, select, and manage inventory of the highest quality ingredients from local suppliers
Occasional catering for social events, ranging from dinner parties to larger social events at the estate
