We are looking for Revenue Manager - Melia Danang Beach Resort. Mission:1. Responsible of using all the Revenue Management tools, practices and procedures that make possible to develop strategies to optimize and boost incomes for the hotel in short, medium and long term. To use all necessary Revenue Management techniques to achieve the budgetary targets of RevPAR, occupancy, ARR and GOP of the hotel; 2. To coordinate all the Revenue Management tasks in the hotel, and also to optimize the useful resources to implement Revenue Management strategies; 3. To develop and implement pricing strategy for different demand periods; 4. To manage sales initiatives referring to hotel’s Revenue Management at the hotel; 5. To try always to optimize RevPar and GOPPAR. Main responsibilities:1. To prepare the hotel´s budget for the incomes area, working together with the Sales department; 2. To plan together with the Hotel Manager & Sales Management team the pricing positioning strategy for the hotel; 3. To ensure the hotel´s PMS Rate Codes and market segments are well-defined. Ensure the correct performance of standards & parameters; 4. To lead & manage the weekly Business Review meeting - ensure the IBR imputation in SAP; 5. Preparation and maintenance : demand calendar, pick up studies, reservation curves, historic data; 6. Market studies: Competitor Intelligence, market tendencies/ segmentation studies, denials studies, group prices and acceptance levels, loyalty programs penetration; 7. To get reports from PMS, SAP, SIRIUS, RECOLUTION, etc; 8. To prepare and program the forecasts by market segment monthly and to three months ahead; 9. To maintain the error margins in area forecasts lower than +/- 5% versus first forecasted data for the month; 10. To plan analytic data; 11. To prepare & analyze business displacement studies, and profits studies; 12. To define the pricing matrix and maintain the hotel´s pricing Dashboard; 13. To prepare the transient/ retail pricing calendar - Pricing points study; 14. To supervise and create the Groups demand and pricing calendar; 15. To plan and define the hotel´s pricing strategy by segment; 16. To analyze and produce market studies: STR, MKG, Macro Economic data, etc; 17. To organize compilation and analyze data about the compset pricing strategy: Rate Shopping Analysis and Benchmarking; 18. To optimize and analyze the data given by the available tools, for example: Travelclick; 19. To update and lead the Price Value Matrix development; 20. To handle and manage the established strategies, being sure that are available at the right time; 21. To communicate the hotel´s RM needs (allowing this way to take decisions being proactive); 22. To manage Overbooking: responsible of define and control the overbooking levels in the hotel; 23. To boost the RM in F&B and M&E, optimizing hotel´s TrevPar and RevPam; 24. To guarantee and manage Rate Parity in all the distribution channels linked to the hotel; 25. To guarantee the maintenance of the extranets; 26. To supervise the efficient feeding of the extranets linked to the hotel; 27. To efficiently handle of the Channel Management tools validated by Meliá Hotels International: EzYield; 28. To supervise the maintenance of allotments, inventory and prices in hotel´s CRS (Sirius, PHG, LHW; etc.); 29. To ensure the maintenance of the sales strategies, descriptions, information etc… In the CRS of Meliá Hotels International; 30. To give Revenue Management training to the team; 31. To pass on the RM company culture; 32. To be sure we have the right profile (knowledge, experience..) for each position; 33. To lead and motivate the team; 34. To ensure the saving culture established by Meliá Hotels International Main requirements: • Hospitality Management, Economy, Business Administration or Mathematics • Fluent English & Vietnamese • Excellent Communication Skill & public relations • Good at dealing with people • Creative • Attentive in all details • Able to recognize problems • 2 years in a similar position in large hotels or international companies • 1 year in the company in similar position in large hotels
