MISSION: As Chef de Partie Night, you will oversee the quality, preparation, and presentation of dishes during night operations, ensuring that every plate reflects Gran Meliá’s elevated standards. You will lead your team with precision, maintaining hygiene, efficiency, and creativity throughout every shift.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise nightly kitchen operations, ensuring optimal performance and flawless execution.

  • Assist in the creation of daily specials and tailor-made menus.

  • Uphold the highest food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).

  • Minimize waste and ensure efficient use of products and resources.

  • Train, support, and develop your team, promoting internal growth and excellence.

  • Maintain smooth communication with other departments and kitchen sections.

  • Support sustainability initiatives and promote healthy, local cuisine.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Education in Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in 4* or 5* hotels.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.

  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

  • A passion for luxury hospitality, team spirit, and a guest-first mindset.
