Job Summary: The Barman is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests with professionalism, efficiency, and excellent customer service. They ensure the bar area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to a memorable guest experience in line with the luxury standards of the hotel. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and beverages as per recipes and guest preferences. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas at all times. Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with orders. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system accurately. Promote and upsell beverages and bar promotions to maximize revenue. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during busy periods or events. Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently. Follow hotel policies, procedures, and service standards at all times. Requirements: Previous experience as a bartender or barman, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale venue. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails and mixology techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. High standards of personal presentation and grooming. Basic knowledge of stock control and cash handling. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
