Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the hotel, overseeing the day-to-day operations while delivering an exceptional luxury guest experience.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating, supervising, and optimizing the operations of all hotel departments, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.
- Leading and inspiring hotel teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and guest-centricity.
- Delivering a personalized luxury experience by paying close attention to every detail and promoting a genuine culture of hospitality.
- Ensuring the correct implementation of Meliá Hotels International's procedures, standards, and policies, in line with the company's strategy and the Gran Meliá brand identity.
- Monitoring operational performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving initiatives that enhance both service excellence and business results.
- Working closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, maximize guest satisfaction, and support the development of internal talent.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Resident Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or Hotel Manager in luxury hotels.
- Previous experience in 5-star urban luxury hotels, preferably within the luxury segment.
- Strong ability to lead hotel operations with a guest-centric mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for excellence.
- Dynamic professional with a natural host profile, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven experience in people management, talent development, and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills, results-oriented mindset, and the ability to perform effectively in demanding luxury hospitality environments.
- University degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Italian is required. Knowledge of a third language (Spanish, French, or German) will be considered a strong asset.
