Mission
To provide a warm welcome, assist guests with luggage and transportation needs, and ensure smooth and friendly arrival and departure experiences. The Luggage Porter/Doorman supports guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards, ensuring safety, and offering helpful guidance throughout the guests’ stay.
What will you have to do?
• Welcome guests at the hotel entrance with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to their rooms when required and explain room features.
• Ensure the hotel entrance, driveway, and lobby areas are clean, safe, and well‑organized.
• Coordinate luggage storage and retrieval following established procedures.
• Assist guests with transportation needs, taxi requests, or airport transfer information.
• Maintain communication with Front Desk and Guest Experience teams regarding guest arrivals, VIPs, and special requests.
• Help manage door traffic and ensure smooth flow of guests.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, entertainment, and local attractions.
• Handle guest inquiries and minor issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures at all times.
• Participate in briefings and departmental training sessions.
What we are looking for?
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest service, or similar roles (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills and a polite, welcoming personality.
• Excellent communication abilities and a guest‑focused attitude.
• Good physical condition and the ability to handle luggage safely.
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy times.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages (Spanish, German) are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
