Mission: As part of the team, the Senior Finance Executive is an integral position responsible for handling part of the financial processes of the organization including helping with financial policies, helping with budgets, etc. What I will be doing? • Oversee daily finance controls, reconciliations, and compliance with company procedures. • Act as the main finance contact in the absence of the Head of Finance. • Monitor bank balances, cash positions, and credit card settlements. • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations. • Manage accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and other month-end accounting entries. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, payroll accounts, supplier balances, and suspense accounts. • Review payroll journals, process payroll entries, and support statutory submissions (VAT, ECO tax, FS5). • Assist with management reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and SAP forecast uploads. What are we looking for? • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA qualification (or progressing). • Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures • Advanced MS Excel skills • Knowledge of financial regulations • Excellent analytical and numerical skills • Knowledge of SAP, Excel and hotel systems are considered an asset • The right candidate must have excellent communication skills & a positive professional attitude. • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
