Job description
Mission: As part of the finance team, the Finance Executive is an integral position responsible for handling part of the financial processes of the organization including helping with financial policies, helping with budgets, etc. What I will be doing? • Process and verify supplier invoices. • Allocate costs to the correct accounts and cost centres. • Resolve supplier queries and perform reconciliations. • Prepare and process supplier payments. • Reconcile daily revenue, payments, and cash transactions. • Manage deposits, bank allocations, and cash lodgements. • Reconcile OTA, travel agent, and debtor balances. • Ensure compliance with company procedures and internal controls. • Support month-end closing activities. • Undertake additional accounting duties assigned by management What are we looking for? • Early stages of ACCA qualification (or progressing). • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. • Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures • Advanced MS Excel skills • Knowledge of financial regulations • Excellent analytical and numerical skills • The right candidate must have excellent communication skills & a positive professional attitude. • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.
