ME Lisbon is a luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Lisbon, part of the prestigious Meliá Hotels International group. Mission: As Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction overnight, handling check-ins, check-outs, and requests with warmth and professionalism. Additionally, you will manage financial reconciliations and reporting tasks, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with company standards. What will you have to do?
• Deliver exceptional guest service during the night shift, including check-in, check-out, and handling special requests.
• Monitor and oversee hotel safety and security overnight, ensuring a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Perform daily auditing and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Prepare nightly reports and share relevant updates with management and morning teams.
• Coordinate with other departments, including Housekeeping and Maintenance, to address guest needs efficiently.
• Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly, always aiming to exceed expectations.
• Ensure the Front Office area is well-organized and ready for morning operations.
• Support the implementation of brand standards and operational procedures, maintaining the highest level of service excellence.
What are we looking for?
• Previous experience in a Front Office or Night Auditor role, ideally in a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written), additional languages are a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail for auditing and reporting tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and guest-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Opera experience preferred).
• Ability to work independently overnight, demonstrating responsibility and initiative.
• Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related area preferred.
