Job Description

Big Mamma is a French Italian restaurant group, the brainchild of Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux. Over the past 10 years, we have opened 30 restaurants across Europe (France, Monaco, England, Spain, Germany, Italy and Belgium).

Our mission? To share the unique atmosphere of Italian tradition, creating special moments with our customers.

Now, for the first time, we’re stepping outside of Europe and landing in Dubai—and we’re looking for a Head of Communications & Events Coordinator


Your mission is to boost Big Mamma Group’s visibility and community in press & social networks across Dubai, through Marketing strategy, collaborations, PR and content creation. You are in charge of leading the communication strategy for the year, leading on creative ideas, brand identity. You are in charge of the organization of the events.

PRESS




  • PR & Influence Strategy: Create and lead a creative PR & Influence strategy on how to generate press around Big Mamma and its restaurants in Dubai. Create the annual calendar of news and activations. Leading, managing and briefing our PR agency to get massive coverage and visibility through influencers


  • Public Relations: With the help of a PR Agency, creating a strong relationship with journalists and influencers


  • Editorial: Write engaging content for press releases, press kits and responses to interviews



DIGITAL COMMUNICATION


  • Social Media Strategy: Designing a strategy and creative ideas for social networks (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linkedin) and Newsletters insuring engagement and growth


  • Creative Content: Insure production of disruptive content with impactful pictures, videos, ensuring targets are smashed and we create game-changing content


  • Website strategy: responsible for content, information & evolution




MARKETING & BRANDING


  • Opening: Build with the wider marketing team the identity of new restaurant (Brand, name, menus identity, uniform, photography & video etc).


  • Partnerships: Lead on development of collaborations to strengthen the brand



EVENTS




  • Events: Ensure our location is well connected within the events, PA and local concierge community. Ensure the restaurant hits targets in terms of event bookings throughout the year and key moments


  • Event and privatization coordination: Conduct venue viewings and coordinate events. Planning the day, addressing clients' requests, organisation of the event, welcoming guests and briefing the team on the food and beverage offerings



Report to the Director of Communications & Marketing Group.
