🌐 What will you be working on?

We organize MICE in Spain and Portugal and we are growing the team. We need you as a responsible person for the destination Portugal and under the lead of a colleague for Spain!


👋 This is what you will be doing

As a groups reservation manager you are the person that gets what´s is sold to the client, delivered. You know what it takes to work within deadlines and to achieve the results within the agreed financial budget.

You work autonomous, but you know when to work together as a team to achieve the results. What you will be doing:

Working with a purchase strategy according to what is sold by the sales department
Contacting and contracting existing supplier for availability and prices
Fill the gaps where new suppliers must be found or prices are not within budget
Be responsible for all payments for suppliers (planning and execute)
Maintain a strict reservations logbook for all data to be correct and concise
Be a good communicator with stakeholders as clients, other departments and suppliers
You will sometimes respond messages of clients in the weekend or call with supplier in case of groups travelling
Travelling to destinations as tour leader or for product development 💪


✅ You are…

A hands-on person that likes action and being in action with a university degree in economics, tourism of relevant
Experienced in the processes of hotel, transport, activity and restaurant reservations and their particularities or reservations for event management
A very well-spoken person with an almost bilingual level in English, fluent Spanish and Portuguese, Arab, French or Dutch is a plus
Living in the Metropolitan area of Barcelona to work at our office in the Gotico area at least 3-4 days a week
A professional with relevant 5-10 years working experience at a DMC, Tour Operator, Travel Agency or proven company that works similar
A person that likes to solve puzzles, problems, challenges and doesn´t wait for others to solve it
