As a bellman your position is of uttermust importance to our hotel as you will be responsible of making a lasting first impression on any arriving guest. You will be responsible for always maintaining the highest standards of service, escorting guests to and from the reception, welcoming all guests and making them feel at home.

Daily Tasks:
•Provide a warm, engaging welcome to all guests and visitors at the hotel
•Be aware of all functions that are taking place in the hotel and to direct guests to the correct destination
•Display an attitude of friendliness, courtesy, and sincerity to all guests (both internal and external), making them feel welcome and at ease
•Be charming by being approachable, having confidence and showing respect
•Stay in the moment by understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, being attentive and taking ownership
of getting things done
•Make it memorable by being knowledgeable, sharing stories and showing your style to create moments that make people feel special
•Assist guests with their bags and luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms and drop off their bags. Ensure they are arranged in a tidy manner.
• Offer to keep guest bags and luggage at the concierge. Ensure bags are stowed safely and securely. Follow ticket collection procedure.
•Liaise with valet staff for parking and collecting of cars
•Ensure all guest’s cars are parked properly with care
•Make guests aware of any dents/ scratches in their vehicles before issuing of valet ticket
•Maintain a good relationship with all hotel suppliers for guests
•Maintain amicable and co-operative working relations with other departments in the Hotel
•Ensure colleagues deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
•Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team
•Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments

Requisitos

Titulación mínima: Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior / Medio
Experiencia: 1 año
Categoría profesional: Empleado
Residencia: Provincia vacante
Idioma imprescindible: Inglés - Profesional

• A high school diploma or qualification.
• 1 year related experience in customer service
• 5-star luxury experience is a must
• Fluent in English and Spanish – any other languages would be great.
• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as complaints, so need to be easy to talk to
• Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collective
• Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays.
• This job requires you to frequently stand at the lobby and carry or lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
