What will I have to do?
Operations
Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, breads (sweet/salty) pastas. Follow recipes and ensure consistency and high standards of quality, presentation, and taste in all pastry items. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and to enhance overall culinary experience. Ensure the brand’s philosophy and standards are reflected in every dish served. Manage inventory ensuring ingredients are fresh and properly stored Contribute to reducing food waste by implementing best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting. Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and plating. Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset. Culinary degree or pastry certification is a plus. Creativity, and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
