KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Servicing of Duty • Ensure all arrival and occupied Villas are cleaned and set up in a timely manner, according to the standards required for each room category. • All departing and vacant Studios and Pavilions must be kept set up to new arrival standards, in case the room needs to be used for a show room or in case there are additional arrivals or room moves required • Provide turn town service for all occupied Studios and Pavilions. Take note of all special occasions such as honeymooners, anniversaries or birthdays and ensure that the room is set up for the occasion • Remove all Studios and Pavilion’s dinning trays and items to the relay rooms • Collect all guest Laundry and coordinate with laundry Department. Inform the Supervisors of any laundry pick up • Follow the correct procedure for cleaning of the room. Always use the correct cleaning products and chemicals for the different areas as per set standards, ensuring a long life of the rooms • Report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately. Follow up these issues until they are resolved. • Carry out the deep cleaning sessions of the studios and pavilions as per the deep cleaning schedule set by the Executive Housekeeper • Always keep work areas and equipment such storage rooms and relay rooms • Ensure waste is separated and disposed as per set standards. Recycle when and where possible • Always wear the necessary personal protective equipment according to the duty to be completed • Always be attentive and on call for guest requirements around the clock • Identify areas of improvement in the daily operations and report/suggest them to the Housekeeping Supervisor • Ensure all the Housekeeping areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. • To ensure maintenance and cleanliness of room are kept up to standards defined by the resort. • To guide and train new Room attendants under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor • The ability to handle guest requests, VIP and special set ups. • To ensure all guest rooms are cleaned to the highest standard, stocks are replenished, and all necessary maintenance is carried out. • To be willing and responsible to perform any duties as designated by Management. • Comply with the resorts policy of grooming standards • Be aware of all resort facilities and services to be able to assist or serve in house guests with generic queries. Communication & Administrative • Ensure guest room keys signed out in your name is used only by yourself and that it is kept secure at all times. Keys must be signed out, only during duty hours. • Report any items left behind in rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor who will deal with the situation according to the Lost & Found Procedures • Inform Housekeeping Supervisor of any incident in the guest rooms including damages, unauthorised persons, complaints and also guest feedback. • Handle guest queries in a timely and efficient manner and provide any information sought by the guest within your level of authority • Resolve guest issues to the guest satisfaction within your level of authority • Assist with providing accurate stock take figures when required. • Comply with the Resorts accident prevention and safety procedures. • Always ensure to record IN and OUT duty time • Responsible to maintain the guest history and preferences for the future references to anticipate the guest needs
