SAP Platform Basis Administrator - Minor Hotels Eu&Am - Madrid

What will be your mission?

This position will participate in IT Infrastructure projects and services realated to data centers and central systems in public clouds.

What will you do?

• Manage core system infrastructure and communications for central computer systems. Coordinate with external service providers to ensure performance monitoring and operations.
• Plan and support IT tasks related to SAP Platform systems, such as: Change Management; Systems upgrades; System cloning; Regular maintenance, etc.
• Contribute to the design and execution of: Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP); Business Continuity Plans (BRS).
• Define corporate projects focused on evolution and optimization of SAP Platform systems. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with long-term IT strategies.

What are we looking for?

EXPERIENCE

• At least 4 years in a similar position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Area of ​​Competence in SAP Platforms.
• Essential knowledge of systems architecture and communications networks. Familiarity with the architecture for SAP environments (ECC, PI, GW, Fiori, BW&BPC, Hybris, etc.), particularly in environments with Oracle and HANA Databases.
• Highly valuable knowledge of S/4 HANA migrations from an infrastructure standpoint.
• Valuable knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP PI SSL certificate administration and management.
• Valuable knowledge of operating systems, including Linux (RHEL, SUSE, AWS, OEL, etc.) as weel as experience with the installation and maintenance of applications such as the Apache Webserver, OpenSSL, etc.
• Knowledge of other management applications for identity management such as LDAP, SSO, etc. will also be valued.
• Previous experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI is a major plus.
• SAP ECC Functional knowledge is a bonus.
• Valuable knowledge of other ERP systems, such as Oracle EBS or similar.
• Languages: Spanish and English required.

• Deep expertise in: SAP System Administration; Database Management (Oracle, HANA); Operating System (Linux/Unix/Windows); Transport Management and Systems Security; Performance Monitoring and System Troubleshooting
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong diagnostic mindset and attention to detail under pressure.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with ease.
• Collaborative nature, thriving in team-based environments.

ADITTIONAL INFORMATION

• The position will be reported directly to the IT Infrastructure Director at HQ.
• Located in Madrid, c/ Santa Engracia 120 28003 (HQ Offices).
• Availability to travel eventually (not necessarily daily, more often required inside Comunidad de Madrid area).
