Position Overview:

Sol Tropikal is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations across the hotel property. The ideal candidate will ensure that all mechanical systems, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, HVAC, and facility equipment are functioning optimally, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities within the hotel premises.

• Lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, ensuring effective task delegation and performance management.

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment (HVAC, elevators, generators, etc.).

• Ensure all systems operate in compliance with local safety and environmental regulations.

• Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.

• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and place orders when necessary.

• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other hotel departments.

• Ensure emergency response systems and protocols are in place and regularly tested.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

• Background in hospitality, property management, or facilities management preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.

• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, CMMS or other maintenance software is a plus).

• Familiarity with Albanian building codes and safety regulations is a plus.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, if needed.
