MISSION: Ensure the food and beverage service in the hotel outlet they are assigned to and collaborate with the waiters, performing their work efficiently according to established procedures and quality standards. Offer a professional service and genuine service attitude that meets the customer's expectations, obtaining their recognition and preference. Following the guidance of the waiter and the chef de rang, carry out the assigned service or customer service tasks.

 

DUTIES SPECIFIC TO THE WORKPLACE:

 

• Perform and ensure compliance with their line manager's instructions regarding tasks and duties assigned to them before and at the end of the shift.
•  Communicate to the waiter/chef de rang the supplies needed to provide service to the rooms and handle the same properly to avoid breakages and waste.
•  Participate in the briefings at the beginning of each shift to receive information about the day's specialities, absences, VIPs, groups, general comments and exchange of opinions.
•  Consistently offer customers a friendly and respectful attitude, always maintaining an impeccable posture and presentation.
• The service must be prompt and correct, following their position’s SOP and ensuring that their interventions are timely.
•  Carry out service set-ups in accordance with the established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all products are included, such as cutlery, salt shakers, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.
•  Handle services with extreme caution to avoid accidents, spills or breakages, complying at all times with safety regulations.

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: 

• Training appropriate to the position (vocational training, specialization courses, etc.).​​​​​​​Teamwork skills, proactivity, excellence, dynamism, and organization. A high level of English is essential.Clear focus on customers and attention to detail.
