Mission:- The primary objective is to establish and efficient management of the Hotel's accounting function, managing flow of information with regards to financial and management accounting reports and controls which are consistent with the Hotel's needs and statutory requirements.- To manage the human and physical assets of her/his assigned area of responsibility within the framework of the established policy and procedures of the Hotel in order to achieve established pre-planned goals while assuring optimum professional development of all employees directly responsible to her/him.Main responsibilities• Follow the company’s “Code of Business Conduct”, as well as other policies & procedures. • Responsible for the efficient running and organization of finance department of assigned hotels & resorts.• Ensure that all accounting records and financial statements comply with the standards set by the Hotel and in compliance with the Uniform System of Accounts for Hotels.• Co-ordinating with the owning company in connection with internal audit or inspection• Co-ordinating and maintaining the standard system of internal accounting control which will provide for the accurate and suitable recording, summarization and reporting of all authorized financial transactions.• Co-ordinating and maintaining the standard system of internal checks which will prevent, or result in prompt discovery and correction of unauthorized financial transactions• Administration of approved operating plans, including measurement of actual performances reporting and interpreting operating results to Regional Controller's Office, Cluster General Manager and to others on the specific instructions of the Regional Controller's office and the Cluster General Manager from time to time• To audit in-depth those areas which are highlighted as special problem areas.• Ensure that timely procedures and controls are in implemented for the Accounting Department and as guidelines for staff within the department.• Sees to the accurate and timely preparation and submission of all accounting Reports and financial statements.• Conducts staff performance evaluations, recommends and suggests measures and actions management• Responsible for the day to day administration of the Finance & Accounting Department and related activities. Completes any other duties assigned by the direct manager Main requirements:Master or University Degree in Accounting, FinanceAccounting and Finance, ManagementGood level of English2 years in a similar position in large hotels or international companies
