Position Overview The Kitchen Intern will support the culinary team in the daily operations of the hotel kitchen while gaining hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment. The intern will assist with food preparation, mise en place, and maintaining kitchen standards in accordance with the hotel’s quality and hygiene guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Assist chefs with food preparation and mise en place for daily service. • Support the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of dishes. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and workstations. • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). • Help with proper storage and labeling of food products. • Participate in daily kitchen operations and service periods. • Learn about menu preparation, ingredients, and culinary techniques. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Requirements • Currently studying Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, Hospitality, or a related field. • Passion for cooking and hospitality. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Basic level of spanish; other languages are a plus. • Accommodation included What You Will Learn • Professional kitchen operations in a luxury resort. • International culinary standards and plating techniques. • Food safety procedures and professional kitchen organization. • Teamwork in a high-quality hospitality environment.
