In this role, you will be in a position to showcase your talents a spart of our kitchen brigade. You’ll leverage your expertise in Pastry and desserts to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation.💼 What You’ll Do • Prepare and present quality desserts, pastries and bakery items. • Responsible for the Pastry Section of the kitchen ensuring high-quality ingredients are used • Menu creation and development • Working knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety regulations. • Engage with guest and act upon guest feedback • Ensuring SOPs are updated and all team members are fully trained • Provide team training on company standards and guest service • Working alongside and supporting our Executive Head Chef • Motivate and create engaging work environment within the department • To have excellent product knowledge and enjoy sharing it ✔️ What We’re Looking For • Creative and passionate about culinary arts • Excellent communication skills • Self-motivated and have positive attitude • Fluency in both written and spoken English • Legally permitted to work full-time in Ireland (we are not in a position to support work permits for this role at this time) • Minimum 3 years experience as a hotel pastry chef in a very busy, large hotel 💸 Compensation & Benefits A welcoming and supportive work environment where you will be shaping the future of RIU Plaza enjoying the following compensation & benefits: • Gross salary: €35,300 per annum paid monthly • Annual leave: 20 days per year • Delicious complimentary meals while on duty. • Professional Growth & Development: Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities to support your career progression.
