MICE Manager

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As our Sales Manager – MICE, you will:

• Lead new business development and manage existing MICE accounts focused on the US and Canada.
• Execute the MICE sales strategy to deliver on revenue targets and occupancy goals across our London hotel cluster.
• Represent Meliá at international events, industry roadshows, fam trips, and networking opportunities to grow brand presence and drive inbound MICE business.
• Collaborate with the Revenue, Groups & Events, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction.
• Analyse performance metrics and market trends to shape proactive sales actions and pricing strategies.
• Support business planning, reporting, and forecasting to help drive long-term growth and profitability.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years’ experience in hotel sales (4* or 5* environment)
• Strong understanding of the MICE segment
• Confident in international business development, with the flexibility to travel as needed
• Familiarity with FOCUS or similar CRM/sales systems
• Professional fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
• A proactive, passionate, and people-focused individual who thrives in a global hospitality setting
