As a Night Shift Receptionist, your role will primarily involve covering for the Night Manager during their days off and holidays, and then taking on afternoon shifts for the rest of the week.
You will be responsible for overseeing the hotel operations during night hours and selected afternoon shifts, ensuring that our guests have a seamless and peaceful stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Night Shift Coverage (when Night Manager is off):
- Perform check-ins for late arrivals and check-outs for early morning departures.
- Perform night auditing tasks, including but not limited to:
- Verifying guest accounts, ensuring correct charges.
- Process guest/bookings payments for the night, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Compare and verify cash and cards transactions with the actual state of payments collected during the day.
- Prepare daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Prepare documents for the next day for other departments.
- Ensure the morning shift is informed of any ongoing guest requests or issues.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to address guest needs or resolve any issues that happened during the night.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
Afternoon Shifts (3 days a week):
- Perform registration procedures, check-ins, check-outs and cashiering.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and assist with reservations.
- Handle guest and colleagues requests in a quick, efficient and professional manner.
- Respond to guest inquiries, provide information about the hotel’s services and facilities, and assist with special requests.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues promptly, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction. Always doing a follow up.
- Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to the rooms, while up-selling when appropriate.
- Carry all duties requested by the department head to assist also to other departments when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior / Medio
Experience: De 2 a 3 años

Essential language: English - Professional
- Availability to work night shifts and afternoon shifts (3 days per week).
- Excellent oral and written language skills.
- Experience with Opera Cloud PMS
- Fluent in Spanish, English. German a plus.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
