What will be your mission?
Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is looking for a legal trainee to join its legal department.We are looking for someone who can provide legal support in different fields and areas of law and assist the other lawyers in the legal department with their day-to-day tasks.As a trainee in the legal department, you will have the opportunity to see how the hotel industry works from the inside, participating in the legal challenges that our business faces on a daily basis, both in Spain and internationally. The hotel business is a dynamic business, so you will have the opportunity to put the technical knowledge you have acquired during your studies into practice.What will you do?
 • Legal assistance and support to Regional Office legal team members in projects and day-to-day inquiries related to the company's hotels and internal departments (e.g., finance, asset management and development, human resources, operations, IT, sales, and marketing). • Review and drafting of all types of contracts and agreements. • Assistance in corporate matters: support in secretarial and corporate law matters; updating and preparation of official documents, such as deeds, contracts, minutes, and certifications. • Assistance in civil, consumer, or administrative authority claims and proceedings. What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is proactive, takes the initiative and is eager to learn. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team and be eager to tackle diverse and varied topics. They will also be honest, transparent and have good communication skills.In terms of academic requirements and skills, we are looking for someone with: • Someone with a law degree from a prestigious Spanish university. • A Master's degree in Professional Legal Practice and/or specialisation in commercial and corporate law (completed or in progress). • Previous experience in law firms and/or corporate legal departments would be an advantage. • Fluency in Spanish and English (both are working languages). • Experience in database management and electronic communication with public administrations/courts would also be advantageous.
