Are you a driven, relationship-focused sales professional with a passion for luxury hospitality?
At Meliá Hotels International, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager – Luxury Europe (Based in London) to join our Global Sales team and take the lead on growing corporate and consortia business across our world-class hotel portfolio. You’ll manage key global accounts, negotiate high-impact contracts, and help shape the future of business travel at one of the world's most prestigious hotel groups.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Drive Business Growth: Partner with the Luxury Brands Sales Senior Director to define and implement strategic sales plans targeting high-value corporate and consortia accounts across Europe.
Be the Face of Meliá: Represent our entire global portfolio in meetings, events, and trade shows. Promote the brand through trusted travel partners, agencies, airlines, associations, and consortia networks.
Own the RFP Process: Lead negotiations and ensure our hotels are front and center in client travel programs, maximizing coverage and driving measurable revenue growth.
Foster Long-Term Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned global accounts. Understand their needs and match them with the best of Meliá’s offerings.
Champion Collaboration: Work closely with hotel sales managers and fellow BDMs to create seamless strategies that align with local needs and global objectives.
Boost Brand Visibility: Organize familiarization trips, coordinate high-impact promotional campaigns, and ensure our sales materials are always fresh, effective, and on-brand.
Stay Data-Driven: Analyze account performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to boost penetration, share of wallet, and account retention.
What We’re Looking For:
Based in London
3+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
A background in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Development, with solid experience in a hotel or hotel chain sales environment.
Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and data-driven sales tools.
A strategic thinker who thrives in negotiation, relationship building, and delivering results under pressure.
Someone who’s goal-oriented, self-motivated, and passionate about luxury hospitality.
Know the corporate travel and consortia landscape inside and out.
Love a challenge, especially when it involves identifying new revenue opportunities and building high-value client partnerships.
Have a sharp eye for emerging trends and can use insights to inform smart, strategic action.
