SCOPE: HOTEL SERVICES REPORTS TO: E-COMMERCE SENIOR MANAGER DEPARTMENT AREA: E-COMMERCE
MISSION: Directly responsible for the E-Commerce segment revenues for assigned MHI hotels ensuring budget compliance.
OPERATIONS
STRATEGY
• Implement the defined sales strategy of the E-Commerce segment.
• Implement the E-Commerce strategy for the hotels under his responsibility, in coordination with the Revenue Management team and the eCommerce partner.
• Implement the sales strategy of the Contact Centre channel for each assigned hotel.
BUDGET
• Ensure the achievement of the revenue targets set for the E-Commerce segment in each of the assigned hotels.
• Support in the preparation of the annual revenue budget for the E-commerce segment ensuring alignment with the needs of the hotels.
• Follow-up with hotels on the investment dedicated to digital marketing, included in the hotel's marketing budget.
SALES REVIEW
• Participate in weekly E-Commerce Partner committees (E-Commerce Sales Review).
• Participate in the weekly commercial reviews established for the hotels under their responsibility.
• Execute E-Commerce action plans.
• Execute commercial reviews with OTA Market Managers and establish objectives and action plans for each of the assigned hotels.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
• Execute the necessary reviews to ensure the correct configuration of the hotels under his responsibility, in each of the accounts.
DIGITAL MARKETING
• Implement in coordination with Revenue Management and the Ecommerce Hub the strategy defined for each of the assigned hotels.
• Follow-up of participation in Destination Co-op and recommendations from MM on the use of Travel Ads to the Digital MK team.
• Be responsible for budget and investment strategies for China market (travellers to China hotels and China travellers to other MHI hotels)
• Define campaigns with specific period, implement media plans and follow up results with channels
• Manage content and creatives for China market
• Communicate with Global Digital information and trends of China travellers
CONTENTS
• Detect and coordinate with the Ecommerce Hub the changes necessary to ensure a high quality level of content in each of the hotels under their responsibility and review the subsequent implementation.
• Detect and notify all relevant changes, as well as the key selling points of the hotels under his responsibility, to the DIGITAL MARKETING & SERVICES team in order to guarantee an updated content in the paid social (advertising) strategy. "SEM Factsheets".
PRICING
• Negotiate and coordinate in collaboration with Revenue Management, the campaigns of each of the assigned hotels and coordinate the upload with the Ecommerce Hub.
• Review the correct application of the implementation of the MHI pricing model in the E-Commerce segment.
• Execute audits to ensure the correct application of tariffs in the eCommerce segment and report any incidents.
• Ensure the correct uploading of offers to the Extranet in collaboration with the Hub and review the uploading of bids.
• Ensure the competitiveness of the assigned hotels.
PRE-OPENINGS
• Coordinate with the Ecommerce Hub the implementation of registrations in the own channel, OTAs and metasearch engines and review the subsequent upload.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Knowledge in Digital Marketing, Marketing, and/or Tourism.
IDIOMAS:
Chinese and Advanced English. A third language is a plus.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
• Advanced knowledge of e-commerce platforms, OTAs, and Metasearch engines, as well as data analysis and tracking tools.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, among others.
• Analytical and teamwork skills.
• Creative attitude to develop new e-commerce strategies and campaigns to optimize targeted goals.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years of experience in E-Commerce departments.
