New!After a big meeting far away from home, or a long wait for a delayed flight, is there anyone more welcoming than a smiling Bartender? As the friendly face of our hotel bars, you’ll also be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you’re preparing drinks exactly as our guest wants or serving them delicious snacks, you’ll be devoted to creating and relaxing memorable experiences. Besides you will adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
Daily Tasks:
- Create a warm welcome for everyone and set the tone for each guest’s experience. Ensure an outstanding tailor-made service
- Regularly communicate with guests to ensure expectations are met
- Make sure all food and beverage facilities are clean and properly stocked
- Make sure all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned
- Create a great working environment for colleagues to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team
- Receive payments and process transactions according to established policies and procedures
- Ensure drink recipes and standards are followed to avoid waste and to control costs
- Make sure credit cards and financial transactions are handled securely
- Prepare and serve amazing drinks to high standards. The use of recipes and pouring standards will ensure consistency
- Highlight promotions and special events held in the hotel to guests
- Set up your bar – stock up on all the supplies you will need
- Monitor guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of customers; check identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage is questionable
- Make sure food and drinks are secure and stored safely following HACCP protocol- always keep stock replenished to minimise waste.

- Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or Related Field
-1+ years’ related experience, 5-star luxury experience is a must
- Fluent in English and Spanish – any other languages would be great
- Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies
- Oracle MICROS knowledge will be highly valuable
- Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays
