What’s the Job?
As a Sales Manager – Travel Industry, you will be responsible for positioning the property within the individual luxury leisure market and strengthening relationships with key players in the Travel Industry Luxury segment to ensure annual objectives are achieved.
You will act as a true brand ambassador, representing InterContinental with sophistication and credibility wherever you travel, building long-lasting partnerships and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
This role reports directly to the Director of Commercial.
Your Day-to-Day
- Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel partners to drive individual leisure business.
- Represent the hotel in sales calls, trade shows, FAM trips, and key industry events.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the luxury leisure segment.
- Support the DOSM in executing strategic sales plans to achieve ADR, occupancy, and revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and segment performance.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Manage proposals, contracts, and client correspondence for confirmed business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of booked business.
- Control costs related to sales activities within your segment.
- Act as a brand ambassador, upholding InterContinental standards and supporting CSR initiatives.
