What You’ll Do as General Manager
You'll be the captain of the ship — keeping things running smoothly while building a warm, welcoming, and fun atmosphere for guests and staff alike. Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:
Manage the hostel and its bar (a key space for our community!).
Take care of budgets, monitor performance, and make things more efficient.
Review business activities and drive better financial results.
Set goals, forecast results, and report to HQ in Madrid.
Develop strategies to take the hostel to the next level.
Boost sales, brand reputation, and team productivity.
Oversee purchasing and supplier relations.

Has excellent communication skills.
Is a proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail.
Has experience working with different kinds of travelers and groups.
Loves working with people and brings a positive, collaborative vibe.
Believes creating unforgettable guest experiences is what really matters.
What You Bring
Previous experience as a General Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership role.
A high school diploma or equivalent (hospitality-related education is a plus!).
Strong spoken and written English (extra languages? Yes, please!).
Experience with MEWS or similar PMS is highly valued.
